• Complete size notation or a dimensioned drawing
• Pin, sleeve or core diameters and overall length
• Head, shoulder, step and retention dimensions
• Material, nitriding or heat-treatment requirements, hardness and tolerance
• Straightness, surface-finish and inspection requirements
• Quantity, destination and required date
