Quality Control Starts with a Confirmed Acceptance Standard
A product cannot be inspected meaningfully until the model, drawing revision, dimensions, material, treatment, tolerance and critical characteristics are clearly defined. Our inspection coordination is based on the mutually confirmed quotation, specification, drawing or approved sample.
Before Order Approval
- Identify the drawing revision, reference standard or approved sample basis.
- Mark fit-critical, function-critical and application-critical dimensions.
- Confirm material, heat treatment, hardness, coating and surface-finish requirements.
- State the required inspection records, certificates, photographs, packaging and labeling.
- Resolve conflicting dimensions or incomplete references before production or procurement begins.
Typical Pre-Shipment Checks
Depending on the agreed scope, checks may include:
- Product identification, marking, quantity and packaging
- Visible condition, damage and obvious surface defects
- Selected dimensions identified in the inspection plan
- Consistency with the approved drawing revision or specification
- Photographic records or document review where quoted
Optional Documents and Verification
Material certificates, hardness reports, heat-treatment records, dimensional inspection reports, coating records, pre-shipment photographs and third-party inspection may be requested during quotation. Availability, sampling level, test method, report format, additional cost and lead-time impact must be confirmed before ordering.
Supplier and Process Selection
The manufacturing or supply source is selected according to the confirmed component, process, quantity and documentation requirement. A source used for one product or order should not be assumed to manufacture every product shown on the website.
Buyer Responsibilities
The buyer should identify every characteristic that controls safety, fit or function and should not rely on a general catalog tolerance where a project-specific acceptance requirement is needed. For replacement references, the dimensions and function that control interchangeability must be confirmed.
Quality Claims
Verified nonconformities are reviewed against the approved specification and supporting evidence. Keep the affected goods unmodified where practical and follow the evidence requirements in our Returns & Quality Claims policy.
